"Your friends are my friends"

Every day at the end of Pierson's preschool class, 

his classmates all hold hands in a circle and sing the cutest song...

"The more we get together the happier we will be.  When my friends are your friends and your friends are my friends..."  You get the picture.

Well, I hope this is the case with Corey and me.

He has the best friends (he is getting some pretty amazing friends from me too!).

BUT seriously...awesome people.

Meet Travis and Annie...they have adorable boys that are 2 and 2 weeks.  

We went to visit them this weekend to do a 

family photo shoot to celebrate Rhett being born!

We went over to the Rice Village area and took some great shots in the beautiful trees.

Seriously, I am out of business cards and this might be on my new card...love it.

Friends...

So if you read my previous post you will laugh when I tell you where I met this sweet couple. 

At Dynegy, of course! 

They are both in the energy business and Natalie actually works with my brother!

I attended their wedding, shared many meals and 

bottles of wine with them, and have enjoyed watching their family grow.

I don't see them as often as I would like, 

but I have loved being able to photograph their children.  

Aren't they adorable?  I love the Christmas red and check out Reese's bow!! :)

Dynegy, anyone?

Corey asked me the other day if I had any friends that 

who did not used to work for Dynegy, 

or were not married to someone who worked for Dynegy or 

who did not work in the energy business.

I have to admit...it is hard to come up with people!  

For those who don't know me that well, my dad used to work for Dynegy for a long time 

and I worked there two summers in college.  

I met some of my best friends there and 

some really great people that I still keep in touch with.

Valerie is no exception...she is a great girl that I have known since 

my summer internship when I was 18.  

I was thrilled to take pictures of her sweet one year old boy, Mason.

Girls, here is the secret to be as thin as Valerie...chase her son! :)

He is FAST and kept me on my toes!

This sweet girl had the most adorable curly hair and we had fun exploring Creekside.  

She LOVED the playground...so we had most of our shots there!

Oh my goodness...I can not gush to you enough about how adorable these three boys are!

This Mama has her hands full with a 5 month old, 3 year old and 5 year old.

But they are so sweet and so full of energy.

It was a fun session! :)

With two teenagers and 8 month old twins, I wonder if she ever has time to sleep!

I really do think I have a market on 2 year old pictures.  

I have seen three 2 year olds this week!

I have had the pleasure of chasing this sweet boy around many times in the past.

I love seeing repeat clients and forming relationships with the kiddos.

We have a blast every time we have a photo session!
